What you will be doing Your key responsibilities will include: Prepare monthly management accounts to group deadlines Complete variance analysis and overhead commentary versus budget Assist with financial result commentary Prepare quarterly VAT returns for Senseco & FSHL Support external audits and respond to auditor queries Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure consistency in nominal codes Provide accurate and timely information to support business needs Undertake ad hoc duties as required Who we are looking for To be successful in this role you will: Be qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Have advanced Excel skills Have experience with Sage accounting software Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work with high volumes of data Excellent interpersonal communication Background in multi-site or service industry preferred Who we are We lead the way in providing top tier independent fire and security solutions to protect your people, property and planet.
