Our team The Eversheds Sutherland Business Acceptance Team (BAT) is a business critical function operating within the Risk Team to support the business in meeting its legal and regulatory obligations. The department is based in Leeds and is split into two sub-teams, the Conflicts Team and the Client Opening Team. Role and key responsibilities The Business Acceptance Administrator is an essential role within the team, you will provide administrative assistance to the Team in regards to a number of critical business processes. Allocation of new conflict requests to the correct work streams. Auditing the sanctions log to identify and complete any missing data. Reporting audit outcomes to Senior Managers and highlighting areas of concern. General management of conflict searches including liaising with Legal teams and Team Managers to agree deadlines. Uploading and maintaining client Terms of Engagement information in the conflicts system Assisting with information barrier queries. Maintaining bespoke key client data spreadsheets. Providing cover for the Business Acceptance mailboxes during periods of leave. Assist with Governance & Compliance team projects as required. Maintenance of anti-money laundering logs. Assist with data cleanse of the conflicts system. Ad hoc assistance with expenses/travel for senior team members. Assist with client audits/Solicitors Regulation Authority anti-money laundering questionnaires. Updating the team training log. Skills and experience Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and with others as part of a team along with remaining calm and professional at times of increased workload and pressure. Excellent IT skills across the MS suite of programmes and willingness to learn new computer packages, software and document management systems.
