Head Chef - Permanent Position
Staffline Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at a busy and well-established restaurant. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated culinary professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to high standards.
Location: Dunloy
Salary: £40,000 per year
Hours: Up to 36 hours per week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Work Schedule: Shifts scheduled according to rota
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring smooth daily operations
2. Prepare and cook high-quality meals in line with the menu and customer expectations
3. Maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene, safety, and compliance
4. Oversee stock control, ordering, rotation, and waste management
5. Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control
6. Work closely with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent service
7. Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
8. Train, support, and develop kitchen staff
Requirements:
9. Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a professional kitchen
10. Strong leadership and team management skills
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
12. Excellent organisational and time management skills
13. In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
14. Passion for food and high standards
15. Reliable with a strong work ethic
