What You’ll Be Doing
As a Hire Controller at our Customer Contact Centre (CCC) in Stockport, you will have a versatile and varied role liaising with the sales team and other functions to ensure prompt, efficient and reliable service delivery for our customers.
Responsibilities
* Liaising with customers to fulfil equipment orders over the telephone and via email
* Processing equipment hire, ensuring the correct administration is carried out
* Communicating with external re-hire companies to source equipment
* Dealing with invoice queries, chasing collections and managing damages
* Managing on and off-hires, collections and breakdowns
* Liaising with our sales team, suppliers and depot network to ensure excellent customer service for our customers
* Utilising our internal systems to ensure correct administration of the hire

Your Profile
* IT literate and experienced in using Windows applications.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Friendly with a courteous telephone manner.
* A strong team player who enjoys working as part of a team.
* Knowledge of plant machinery and small tools is preferable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
