We are looking for a compassionate, creative, and engaging Tutor to support a young person entering Year 9, who is currently on a partial school timetable and at risk of permanent exclusion (PEX). This role is more than academic-it's about mentorship, encouragement, and confidence-building.

Diagnosed with ADHD and PDA
Working at a Year 6 level academically
Has a strong love of animals and enjoys being outdoors
Responds well to practical, fun, and hands-on learning activitiesAs a Tutor you will:
Build a trusting relationship through mentorship and positive reinforcement
Deliver engaging Maths and English sessions tailored to the student's level
Use creative, outdoor, and animal-themed activities to spark interest and motivation
Support emotional regulation and confidence in learning
Collaborate with family and school to ensure consistent progressAbout you:
Experienced in working with learners with EHCPs
Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic
Able to design and deliver practical, fun learning experiences
Comfortable working in informal settings, including outdoor environments

Hours - 15 hours per week
Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
- Minumum of 1 years experience working within UK schools- ESSENTIAL
Trauma informed- DESIRABLE

Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
