On The Go project assistant Cycle of Life Ltd Location: The Kuumba Imani Millennium Centre, 4 Princes Road Liverpool L8 1TH Jobe Type: Part Time/ Full Time (Flexible) Salary: Competitive, based on experience Start Date: November 2025 About Cycle of Life Cycle of Life Ltd is a community-driven social enterprise dedicated to breaking barriers to cycling, promoting sustainable transport, and empowering individuals through active travel and entrepreneurship. We provide cycling education, business mentoring, and mobility solutions to underserved communities across Liverpool, including asylum seekers, Looked After Children (LACs), and low-income families. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrative Officer to support the smooth running of our operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our day-to-day administrative tasks, record-keeping, and internal coordination are handled efficiently, allowing Cycle of Life to maximise its impact. Role Overview The OTG Assistant will support Cycle of Life in expanding outreach and engagement initiatives under the On The Go (OTG) project. This role involves conducting research, assisting with customer engagement, and supporting marketing activities that enhance the organisation’s impact across the community. As an OnTheGo Project Assistant, you will play an active role in supporting the planning, delivery, and development of the project. This includes contributing to session design, assisting with coordination and logistics, and helping to expand the project’s scope and impact. The role also involves hands-on participation in programme activities, including real-life entrepreneurship, trading, and community engagement, to provide practical support and gain first-hand experience in social enterprise delivery. Key Responsibilities ? Assist in planning, organising, and delivering OnTheGo project sessions and events. Support with logistics, coordination, and on-site facilitation to ensure smooth and engaging delivery of entrepreneurship and active travel activities. ? Actively participate in real-life enterprise activities, including pop-up trading, community events, and cargo bike operations. Contribute ideas and feedback to enhance the trading model and participant learning experience. ? Conduct comprehensive market research to proactively identify emerging opportunities and trends relevant to the organization's mission and Media Content Management ? Create engaging and informative content for social media platforms and actively manage these channels to promote various programmes and events, thereby increasing visibility and Instructor Course Support ? Provide necessary administrative and logistical support for cycle instructor courses, including preparation of materials and coordination of activities to ensure smooth Generation and Stakeholder Engagement ? Systematically contact potential new leads to expand the network and maintain proactive follow-up with existing stakeholders to foster strong, continuous and Customer Engagement Assistance ? Contribute to the organization's growth by assisting with sales strategies and participating in initiatives designed to enhance customer engagement and Collaboration for Outreach and Projects ? Work collaboratively with the team to efficiently plan, execute, and deliver outreach initiatives and project activities, ensuring effective community impact. Person Specification ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to clearly and effectively share information, both verbally and in writing, and to build positive working relationships with various people, including team members, partners and the community. ? Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks effectively: The capacity to plan and structure work efficiently, take initiative without constant supervision, and handle several different responsibilities or projects at the same time while maintaining quality. ? Confident using social media and digital tools for research and outreach: Proficiency in using platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc., as well as other online resources, to gather information and connect with potential participants or stakeholders. ? Passionate about cycling, community development, or social impact initiatives: A strong personal enthusiasm for the core areas of the organisation's work, suggesting a genuine commitment to the role and the goals of the projects.
