About This Role
We are seeking a Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) to join our Consumer and Small Business Banking team. This role is pivotal in our Branch Banking division. After completing the necessary licensing and SAFE registration, you will transition into the Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) exempt role.
In This Role, You Will:
* Participate in our Branch Banking Licensed Banker program as a Senior Branch Premier Banker LP (SAFE) until you complete licensing requirements.
* Proactively acquire new affluent consumer and small business customers while deepening existing relationships through outreach and planned appointments.
* Analyze customer concerns and apply resolution protocols to address them effectively.
* Advise customers on financial options and services tailored to their needs.
* Maintain a deep understanding of Wells Fargo’s banking, credit, and investment solutions.
* Collaborate with peers in Business Banking, Mortgage, and Wealth Management to meet client goals.
* Manage risks by adhering to policies and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
* Collect and analyze customer information to develop customized financial plans.
* Build strong relationships with branch colleagues and clients to foster financial success.
* Provide guidance to branch employees on managing complex client needs.
* Engage with customers regarding dwelling secured transactions, ensuring compliance with the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act.
Required Qualifications
* 4+ years of customer service experience or equivalent.
* 3+ years of experience in building and maintaining effective relationships.
* 3+ years of experience recommending products and services.
Desired Qualifications
* Experience in the financial services industry (corporate, consumer, mortgage, investments, brokerage, or private banking).
* Successful completion of FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams (or equivalents).
* State Insurance license(s).
* 3+ years in a licensed financial services position.
* Strong customer service focus with experience in complex transactions.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Knowledge of compliance controls and risk management.
* Ability to educate customers on digital banking options.
* Experience mentoring and coaching others.
Job Expectations
* Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
* Adherence to Wells Fargo’s sales practices and risk management culture.
* Current registration for FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 is required or must be completed within a specified period.
* State Insurance license(s) must be obtained within a specified period.
* Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting licensing and regulatory requirements.
* This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
