Job Description
This role involves the following key responsibilities:
* Liaising with the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to understand Requests For Quotation (RFQ)
* Understanding manufacturing processes for bid preparation
* Reviewing and processing supplier quotations for compliance and audit readiness
* Developing manufacturing and support labour estimates based on recorded actuals
* Generating learner calculations for labour estimates
* Creating 'Bottom Up' Prime Hardware Estimates covering materials, assembly, and testing throughout the product lifecycle
* Incorporating functional phased labour estimates aligned with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
* Applying risk provisions from the risk register
* Ensuring compliance with CEPA guidelines, MoD/DoD regulations, and financial instructions during bid preparation

* Participating in customer fact-finding and negotiations independently
* Presenting data to line managers or IPT as required
