Graduate Teaching Assistant

Salary: Competitive, £88.92-£100
Start Date: September 2025
Monarch Education is recruiting graduates or current university students for Teaching Assistant and Learning Mentor roles in schools within the Northampton area. Experience working in a school is not necessary; a willingness to learn and take on new challenges is essential.
Applicants should have experience working with young people in any capacity, such as sports coaching, dance teaching, or scouting. This role is ideal for those considering a career in teaching and could be the first step towards a career in education.
Requirements of the Candidate
* Experience working with young people
* A strong team player with excellent organisation and interpersonal skills, capable of supporting and inspiring children to learn
* Excellent communication skills

Job Responsibilities
* Supporting the classroom teacher
* Monitoring pupil progress
* Working with students one-to-one or in small groups
* Behaviour management
* Collaborating with teaching staff and school community
