In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
* Design, implementation and support services for Network and Voice solutions within a global organization, including vendor management, consultancy sourcing, budgeting, forecasting, developing metrics, analytics and reporting capabilities and updates to senior leadership.
* Leadership and guidance of support teams to ensure agreed levels of service delivery and performance are maintained.
* Ownership of network and voice aspects of Major Incident Management processes and events including Major Incidents at weekends and out of hours
* Effective operational planning and delivery, such as device and application lifecycle management, resource management and management of external suppliers for projects & BAU.
* Proactive identification of support and service delivery process enhancements to maximize value delivered and the creation of continual improvement plans in collaboration with IT Leadership, peers and business stakeholders.
* Provisioning of all components of network and voice equipment, core applications and user access.
* Accountable for technical documentation, development of policy and procedures, and for compliance with those already existing.
The essential requirements of the job include:
* Experienced people leader with a strong background in managing a complex network and voice environment in a global organization.
* Experienced with developing BAU & project budgets and delivering on target.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation at all levels.
* Excellent judgement, strong analytical skills, experience in risk assessment. Continuous Improvement mindset using DBS tools or equivalent.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple, parallel tasks and projects.
* In depth experience in business relationship management, engaging with senior stakeholders and delivering business requirements.
* Highly customer focused when setting priorities, ensuring performance meets customer expectations, able to understand the impact on the organization of change.
Able to travel up to 15% and internationally.
