A leading award‑winning wine importer seeks a National Account Manager to drive sustainable growth across key national retail accounts. The role involves taking end‑to‑end responsibility for the accounts, owning the P&L, leading annual planning, and building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities
* Manage and develop major national retail accounts, including Waitrose and Majestic.
* Own full P&L accountability, ensuring delivery of revenue, margin, and profitability targets.
* Lead annual business planning cycles, including JBPs and promotional strategies.
* Negotiate trading terms, pricing, and promotional activity with customers.
* Analyse performance data to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
* Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to deliver aligned plans.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholder organisations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a National Account Manager or similar role within FMCG, ideally drinks or wine.
* Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable P&L ownership.
* Experience managing major UK retail accounts.
* Skilled negotiator with a track record of delivering growth.
* Highly analytical with the ability to turn insights into action.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Passion for wine is advantageous, but not essential.
