The Opportunity Our client a leading property management agency has a fantastic opportunity in their Belfast office as a Temporary Accounts Assistant - the successful candidate will lead and oversee the accounts payable function for the company. This is a short-term position assisting with day-to-day finance tasks assisting the team as and when required with any adhoc finance tasks (i.e. uploading bank lines) - the ideal applicant will have prior finance experience within a busy office and have prior experience within Accounts Payable. Key Responsibilities Uploading daily bank lines to our CRM system (SME Professional) Accurately filtering and assigning unallocated transactions to the relevant property accounts. Uploading rental revenue to our internal database. Processing landlord and contractor payments promptly and accurately. Maintaining accurate records and filing documentation in line with company procedures. Responding to finance-related queries from landlords, tenants, and contractors in a professional manner. Assisting colleagues in the Finance team with ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks. Desirable Criteria Previous experience in an accounting, finance, or administrative support role. Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail. Ability to learn new software systems quickly. Strong organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines. Experience within the property management, lettings, or real estate sector would be ideal but not essential. Knowledge of CRM or property management systems.
