Income Assessment Officer Enfield Temporary Full Time Join a dynamic local authority team in Enfield as an Income Assessment Officer, where you'll play a key role in providing high-quality financial assessment and income collection services. THE ROLE As an Income Assessment Officer, you will support the Assessment Hub by delivering professional and efficient financial assessments and income-related services in line with national and local guidelines. Assess and determine income-related benefits and financial entitlements Handle complex collection matters and customer enquiries Deliver high standards of customer service through written and verbal communication Maintain accurate case records and audit trails Engage with vulnerable clients and manage sensitive financial data Support the implementation of automation and streamlined processes Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies for seamless service deliveryTHE CANDIDATE The successful candidate will have previous experience in a financial assessment or collection role within a public sector or similar environment. Strong working knowledge of income-related assessments and associated legislation Adaptability to work across a pooled team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confident in using IT systems and maintaining accurate data records Evidence of continuous professional development in financial services or assessmentTHE CONTRACT Full time, Monday - Friday Temporary: 3 Month Contract, potential for extension RATE: The pay for the role is £22.00 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £18.76 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
