Could you be our next Senior Project Manager, Portfolio Delivery? The job is in our King of Prussia, PA or Maidenhead UK office. This is a hybrid position and is onsite three days a week. You will report to the TA Portfolio Delivery Lead.
You will lead the successful operational delivery of global R&D projects of strategic importance to CSL's product portfolio.
The Role
1. You will work with project leader to define strategy and operational tactics
2. Responsible for the preparation and management of project budgets, sensitivities, resources, project timelines, project scope and all other project documentation
3. Accountable for the accuracy and quality of reports to senior stakeholders
4. Lead development teams through tactical execution of project plans
5. Manage and resolve project issues and reduce risks
6. Ensure documentation of main team information, actions, modifications to scope, resources, timelines and milestones in project management systems is current.
7. Evaluate the project planning, scenarios and challenge assumptions to increase robustness of project plans
8. Monitor performance vs. plan (budget and timeline)
9. Coordinate program updates to Sr. Management
10. Provide coaching to more junior members of the R&D Global Project Management Department
Qualifications
11. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
12. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification,
13. 7+ years' experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
14. 5+ years' experience as a project manager leading project teams in a matrixed, global environment, In-depth knowledge in drug research, development and manufacturing processes
15. Demonstrated experience delivering projects to meet our goals on time, within budget and wit quality.
