Job Description
Planner/Scheduler required for a new, ongoing temporary role in the Durham area. This is to cover whilst a permanent person is recruited and so could become permanent for the person in the temp role.
The RoleWorking within a civil engineering team, you will produce, monitor and update planning schedules, for a large number of reactive and planned sewer inspections, remediation and scoping activities being undertaken concurrently.
Day to day duties will include:
Handling information from multiple sources in order to efficiently manage the works schedule.Proactively liaise with operational teams across the framework to obtain progress information.Reporting on completions and outstanding works.Liaising with the Streetworks Co-Ordinator to gain an understanding of what is required to plan works. Logging traffic management and customer requirements with the appropriate team.Updating IT systems, for example uploading CCTV footage, CC&B and Maximo.Ability to update customers on entry dates and managing expectations.Build stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
The Person Applications are welcome from people with strong IT and communication skills. They must be numerate and literate with a can do attitude and recent scheduling experience is essential.
Remuneration£13.50 - £14.50 PAYE
