Job Description

3. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
4. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best value for the company.
5. Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
6. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
8. Analyse supplier performance and implement improvement plans where necessary.
9. Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Buyer should have:

10. Proven experience in procurement
11. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting supplier relationships.
12. Knowledge of procurement processes
13. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends.
14. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
15. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
16. A relevant qualification in procurement, supply chain, or a related field is desirable.
