The Role: We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Product Designer to work closely with the senior leadership team. You will play a key role in creating new collections from initial sketches through to final production sign off. This is an excellent role for an experienced Product Designer with a background in online retail clothing, leisure, or sportswear. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end design process for men’s and women’s clothing, covering both performance and lifestyle categories. Develop precise CAD drawings and comprehensive tech packs, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), garment construction details, and finishing techniques. Manage size specifications, fit comments, and grading for all product lines to ensure consistency and accuracy. Oversee all sampling stages—from initial prototypes through to final, production-ready samples. Organise and run fit sessions, ensuring each garment aligns with brand fit standards and performs as intended. Liaise directly with overseas suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring clear communication throughout the product development cycle. Monitor and maintain the product development critical path to ensure timely delivery from design to production. Work collaboratively with the MD and E-commerce Manager to shape seasonal collections, align with trends, and support brand growth. Use customer feedback and returns analysis to continually enhance fit, fabric selection, and construction quality. Maintain a well-organised archive of technical specs, fabric swatches, trims, and sample records for reference and future development.£28,000-£38,000 DOE Shifts between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday. This is an office-based role with free on-site parking. The individual We’re looking for people who have: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in designing sportswear or leisurewear Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern development, and fabric performance characteristics. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Excel Confident in managing sizing specs, grading, and ensuring fit across a variety of body types. Highly proactive with strong attention to detail and a sharp commercial mindset—understanding the link between great product and business success. Able to manage multiple product categories and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent communication skills, with proven experience collaborating with overseas manufacturers and suppliers.
