Taking the lead in the alignment of resources in planning, implementing and assessing change across change programmes being undertaken across the University the Business Change Manager is responsible for supporting the adoption of changes and business improvements required by all IT enabled projects or initiatives.
To be the recognised Business Change authority, ensuring that effective change management is introduced to the University in a structured and planned manner that supports the successful delivery of major IT-enabled business change projects.
To design, implement and govern the overarching change management and benefits management methodologies that shape and influence changes to organisational culture.
Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role.
This appointment is a fixed‑term contract until 14/01/2028
Salary Information
New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost‑of‑living‑related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. This ensures fairness, consistency and transparency in our pay structures. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
