This is the role for you. You'll be working with key people across our Contract Logistics Business Unit to deliver communications which keep our colleagues informed and excited. You'll provide invaluable support for the development, implementation, and embedding of our KuehneNagel UK-wide communication plan and strategy, gathering feedback as you go. Not only that, but you'll support the development and creation of innovative communications, all while reinforcing KuehneNagel's brand. Our job is to support the people working hard across the UK to deliver for our customers, so we need to know what makes them tick. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Embrace Flexibility with Us! Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. During your first six months, you'll be based on-site, fostering relationships and connecting with colleagues. After this period, enjoy the flexibility of working three days in the office and two days remotely. Provide an expert writing, formatting, proof-reading, and editing service to the Contract Logistics business. Work with regional and global teams, liaise with the central KuehneNagel communications team and follow guidance on corporate content. Plan communications, work extensively with the Contract Logistics Leadership team to define, plan, and deliver a fully integrated communications schedule, which aligns to the UK communications strategy. Support the local and national colleague awards and other recognition mechanisms. Tell our story to our colleagues: ensure there is a consistent and regular flow of information, as per the communication plan, and as directed by senior leaders and operations, to colleagues across Contract Logistics. Work closely with key internal stakeholders and support in developing action plans aligned to our strategy and behaviours. Respond to topical issues and or short term changes. Support colleague engagement:work with stakeholders to advise on feedback, insight, research and support in developing new messages and methods. Support the delivery of organisational objectives relating to colleague engagement. Use the relevant tools (e.g. survey tools, focus groups) to measure how effective communication is, understand what's working and what needs to improve, and use this to drive improvements. Assist stakeholders by supporting in developing communications materials (such as briefing documents, statements, and FAQs), including any that may be required for external stakeholders. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES Demonstrate strong communication skills coupled with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders Creative with excellent copy writing skills (English) for a variety of audiences Strong organisational skills along with the ability to collate and analyse data (e.g. colleague surveys) and presentation skills. Ideally you will hold experience as a Communications Executive, dealing with a diverse/disparate employee base which includes office and operational colleagues. Positive, self-starter, ambitious, resilient, solutions-focused with a desire to work in communications. Able to translate complex messages into engaging stories, copy and visuals. Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with creative Adobe packages. A relevant qualification in communications, marketing or journalism (desired but not essential).
