Are you a passionate and experienced educator with a commitment to inclusive education and supporting children with complex needs? If so, The Rainbow Room at Errol Primary School is looking for a dynamic and compassionate Principal Teacher to join our dedicated team.

About The Rainbow Room
\n
The Rainbow Room is a nurturing and inclusive Intensive Support Provision within Errol Primary School. We support children with a wide range of learning and communication needs, including intellectual disabilities, autism, and related conditions. Our ethos is rooted in inclusion, respect, and high expectations for all learners.
\n
From August 2025, we will have two Intensive Support Provision (ISP) classes.

Key Responsibilities
\n
As Principal Teacher, you will:
\n
\n
* Lead and support curricular development and quality assurance within the provision.
\n
* Contribute to whole-school policy development, particularly in behaviour and wellbeing.
\n
* Guide and mentor colleagues, supporting their professional learning and development.
\n
* Provide strategic leadership in pastoral care and pupil welfare.
\n
* Collaborate with staff, families, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for learners.
\n
* Play a key role in implementing and driving forward the School Improvement Plan.
\n

Working with children and/or protected adults is regarded as a regulated role and under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 you will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.

If you have lived overseas for a period of 12 months or more (continuous or total) within the last 10 years, whilst over the age of 18, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
GTCS registration is required.

A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of the above mentioned mandatory pre-employment checks (including references) and will also include eligibility to work in the UK, qualifications and fitness to undertake the post.
