Associate Lecturer We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual who will be involved in the delivery of clinical skills education in a simulated environment as a member of the teaching team for undergraduate health and social care programmes The post is primarily based at our Chester campus however there is an expectation of travel between all sites dependant in service need. The Faculty has three education centres, University Centre Warrington, University Centre Birkenhead, and, the Wheeler Building, Chester We are looking for a candidate who is a registered health care professional and who is educated to at least diploma level 6 and either have or are willing to complete a relevant first degree. Candidates should have suitable expertise to deliver clinical skills and simulation education sessions and previous experience of teaching and or supporting students in practice. Knowledge of technology enhanced learning within simulation is an advantage for these posts. A secondment or job share would be considered for this post. Due to the practical nature of the role on site working is required four days (80% of time pro rata) each week. Additionally, each academic year there are three simulated night shifts that take place and this post holder is expected to be part of the night shift simulated experience.
