Person specification
Qualifications & Training
* GCSE level qualifications or evidence of study to a similar level
* NVQ level 3 in Early years or Childcare (BTEC, NNEB, CACHE Diploma) or equivalent experience in relevant field
Knowledge & Experience
* Experience working within a childcare setting.
* Experience of group work
* Experience of working with families, children and young people
* Experience of planning and delivering targeted activities
* Knowledge of Safeguarding policies and procedures.
* Knowledge of child development
Desirable criteria
* Experience of working in community setting
* Health education/promotion experience
Skills & Abilities
* Good interpersonal and communicational skills
* Use of initiative
* Organisational skills, Time management, Record keeping, Ability to prioritise, Flexibility
* Proven IT skills
* Experience of working in a customer-facing role
* Experience of working within a team.
Desirable criteria
* Experience of using SystmOne
Other Requirements
* Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
