Your new role
Manage and deliver an organisation-wide first point of contact Human Resources service through the interpretation and guidance of HR policies and accurate processing of HR activities onto the systems. Represent the department, promote values and behaviours, and ensure the team achieves quality standards, constantly aiming to improve performance and service delivery.
* Lead and manage a first-contact HR service, ensuring consistent policy application and accurate HR processing.
* Supervise and develop a team of People Partners and Advisers, providing guidance on complex employee relations issues.
* Improve service delivery through coaching, performance management, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
* Ensure GDPR compliance and maintain accurate HR system data and case records.
* Drive service improvements via stakeholder feedback, resource planning, and HR projects.
* 3 - 6 month temporary position
What you'll need to succeed
* Ability to build credibility and develop excellent relationships.
* Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform solutions.
* Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Leadership, influencing, and motivating skills to support organisational improvement.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
* Knowledge of key employment law.
* Experience in developing operational services, systems, and processes.
* Continuous professional development and the ability to share knowledge with others.
