Overview
Managing nursing team in Corneal service within Ophthalmology. Manage Crosslinking Service, supporting the staff and assisting in the treatments. Perform Corneal Fluorescein Angiography/IV infusions. To develop the Nurse-led Service. Act as a mentor for junior staff/student nurses/apprenticeships. Manage the smooth running of the clinics. Contribute to Research, Audit and Practice Development. Manage sickness, recruitment, appraisals and mandatory training of nursing team. Support junior Doctors, student nurses and imaging staff. Ensure smooth running of clinics, Crosslinking service, Excimer Laser and nurse led clinics.
