Role and Responsibilities
Are you our next Catering Assistant? Here’s more about the role:
* First and foremost – we work together as a team to enrich our residents’ lives and support colleagues, with a positive and collaborative approach.
* Your main duties include basic food preparation, presenting meals to a high standard, and serving meals to residents, all performed in accordance with relevant food hygiene legislation.
* Excellent food quality and service contribute to residents’ daily experience.
What skills do I need?
* Team work: a happy team makes for happy residents and a happy home.
* Previous catering experience is desirable; a food hygiene certificate is preferred.
* Understanding of safe food storage and cleaning practices is essential.
* Support and training are provided.
* Caring, enthusiastic, and energetic approach with the ability to communicate well and be flexible.
* Respect for older people and their needs, ensuring dignity in every interaction.
