Fishmonger Our Food Halls team are now looking for a Fishmonger to join our vibrant and bustling fish counter. You will be a product expert and be responsible for producing exceptional products and service to delight our customers whilst being a brand ambassador for Harrods. About the Role You’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate de-scaling and removing of bones, gutting, cleaning and filleting fish using cutlery and powered equipment. You’ll portion and prepare fish and seafood, by ensuring the availability of the wide range of quality products. By demonstrating energy and passion for every sale, you’ll ensure that every opportunity to satisfy the customer has been explored. You’ll guarantee that the fish is storied correctly at all times and carry out temperature checks on the product and record data in line with food safety standards. You’ll increase sales by selecting products to meet customer requirements whilst highlighting the features & benefits of the product. About You With previous experience working in a fast-paced restaurant, sales environment or kitchen environment, you’ll have a great knowledge of margins, discounts, waste and shrink to ensure the business is maximising profit from every sale. You’ll be aware what the latest trends are in the market and what our direct competitors are offering. You’ll be accountable for consistently delivering exceptional customer service.
