🚧 We’re hiring: 3D CAD / BIM Technician – Water 🚧
💷 Salary: £30,000 – £45,000
📍 Location: Hemel Hempstead
🕒 Contract: Permanent | Full Time (40 hours per week)
🏢 Work pattern: Office‑based at least 3 days per week
An established organisation is looking for an experienced 3D CAD / BIM Technician to join a growing design team delivering complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
In this role, you’ll produce high‑quality 3D models and technical drawings, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support project delivery through effective BIM processes. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior technicians and contribute to the continuous improvement of digital design workflows.
🔧 Key responsibilities:
• Producing and managing detailed 3D models and technical drawings
• Multidisciplinary model coordination and clash detection
• Ensuring compliance with design standards and quality processes
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Contributing to the development of BIM workflows
✅ About you:
• 5+ years’ experience as a CAD/BIM Technician
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD (or similar tools)
• Experience working on complex, coordinated models
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Relevant qualification or equivalent practical experience
