About You
Support Worker – Be Someone’s Everyday Hero!
Location: Broxburn
Hours: 22.5, 30 or 37.5 hours per week (varied shifts, incl. weekends & waking nights)

Looking for a role where no two days are the same?
You’re in the right place! We’re on the hunt for experienced, confident Support Workers to support a 30-year-old man to live independently in Broxburn.
About the Gentleman You’ll Be Supporting:
* Has autism, a learning disability, and epilepsy – so calm, reassuring support is key
* May display challenging behaviour and become fixated on certain topics – confidence in redirection and boundary-setting is a big plus
* Uses a wheelchair independently and loves getting out and about
* Has a passion for trains, buses, ice-cream vans, and bin lorries
* Enjoys music, feeding birds, and ♻️ recycling
Your Role Will Include:
* ️ Shopping, cooking, and medication administration
* Personal care and everyday support
* Using social stories and communication aids to promote understanding and independence
* Supporting hobbies and community engagement
* Remaining calm and confident during challenging moments
What We’re Looking For:
* ✅ Experience with autism, epilepsy, and challenging behaviour
* Confidence in communication and redirection
* ❤️ A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
* Willingness to learn and adapt as we get to know this gentleman better
