About The Role
Are you an experienced Welder/Fabricator looking for your next move? We are currently looking for you to join our team within the busy service centre.
In this role as a Welder/ Fabricator you’ll be joining our Hoist specialist team.
You'll be responsible for repairing and maintaining all Hoist equipment, performing inspections and managing all repairs, reporting of any issues. Your key duties will be;
1. Performing inspections of equipment
2. Welding, Fabricating and manufacture metal parts
3. Production of strong and clean welds
4. Taking care of the welding machine and other equipment
5. Maintain a safe working environment within the stores areas, observing all current Health and Safety including basic house keeping
6. Perform any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the department and company

To succeed as a Welder/ Fabricator you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours
7. Prior experience in a similar role
8. Previous experience in welding and fabrication
9. Knowledge of safety precautions related to occupational hazards procedures and practices of the trade
10. Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues
11. Flexible and self-motivated, you’ll take the initiative and be keen to embrace new training opportunities
12. Great communication skills – both verbal and written
13. Effective administration, planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
14. Good IT/Computer skills. MS Office including Excel and Outlook & experience of database entry
15. Driving licence
