Wotton House International School (WHIS) is seeking a passionate and innovative Teacher of English and/or Humanities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute toward a forward-thinking curriculum and pedagogy. The school offers IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IGCSE qualifications and an ideal candidate would be willing to contribute to either or both of these courses although experience in both is not expected.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver active, engaging lessons to students aged 5-16.
2. Teach in a variety of stimulating environments and be willing to support the holistic Wotton pedagogy.
3. Foster a love for reading, critical thinking, and effective communication in young learners.
Dispositions:
4. Holding or willing to work towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
5. A proactive and creative individual with a clear vision for student-centred, action-based learning.
6. Passionate about fostering holistic learning and academic success.
