Job Description
Hours of work: 29.60 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays - hours to be agreed.
Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service).
(As the position is part-time and term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata).
Fixed term: 02 September 2026 - 31 August 2027.
Closing date: 19 June 2026.
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and committed Individual Needs Assistant who is passionate and enthusiastic. This will be a fixed term post to provide care, education and support to individual pupils with complex needs.
The successful applicant will need to build strong and trusting relationships quickly to enable the young person they are supporting to feel secure throughout the school day. The ability to provide consistent, calm personalised support and maintain excellent communication with the class teacher, SEND team and parents is key.
Previous experience of working as a TA or INA would be an advantage including with children on the autistic spectrum, but we also welcome applications from people who have experience of volunteering in a school.
