Role Responsibilities
* Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Leading the preparation and review of accounts, tax computations, and personal/partnership tax returns
* Supervising and mentoring trainees, supporting their development
* Building strong client relationships and identifying tax-saving opportunities
* Contributing to the smooth running of the department, including workflow, billing, and project delivery
* Attending client meetings and working closely with partners on strategic client needs

Candidate Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
* At least two years in a managerial role within a UK accountancy practice
* Strong experience in accounts preparation and tax compliance
* Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and Microsoft Office
* Excellent organisational, communication, and team leadership skills
* A proactive, solution-focused mindset
* A good working knowledge of farming accounts (desirable)
