We are the internal recruitment partner for an established and successful organisation, a key supplier to the catering industry.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join their busy team in Norwich.
This is a rare opportunity to work in a varied role, not only will you complete key credit control tasks, but you will also be responsible for several administrative tasks within the finance function.
Working closely with peers, you will ensure that payments are collected and allocated in a timely manner ensuring minimal aged and outstanding debt across the customer base. Dealing with all customer queries, you will investigate and resolve any issues effectively ensuring any outstanding invoices and debts are collected.
This role would be ideal for an experienced Credit Controller. A true professional who can take ownership whilst being able to work in a team, independently and to deadlines.
Requirements
 1. Proven experience of a financial background, ideally in a B2B environment.
 2. Experience of working with a large number of accounts.
 3. Working with other departments to resolve customer service issues.
 4. Experience of working with customers to resolve overdue debt.
 5. Ideally, experience using Business Central (Dynamics 365) or a similar finance/ERP system
 6. Good commercial acumen and an eye for detail.
 7. Flexibility to assist customers who visit the site, helping them with their orders and ensuring excellent service.
 8. Organisation skills, as will be required to manage accounts shared with partners.
 9. Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to other depots occasionally
