At Cavendish Nuclear, we’re working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as an Area Health and Safety Lead at our Hinkley Point C site.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance coordinates the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling, and support services, enabling different contractors to work as a single entity for complex installations.
The role
As an Area Health and Safety Lead, you’ll be involved in a major project with national significance. Your responsibilities include:
1. Acting as the first point of contact for H&S Advisors and escalating unresolved issues.
2. Overseeing HSE advisors' KPIs and supporting accident investigations.
3. Recording audit and inspection findings in line with HSSE management systems.
4. Building relationships with Tier 1 contractors and the Principal Contractor.
5. Monitoring working practices regarding health, safety, environment, and welfare.
This role is full-time and onsite at Hinkley Point C near Bridgwater.
