Brook Street are offering an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to help learners aged 16-19 throughout their training programme. You will play an important role in supporting them with their progress towards achieving their learning outcomes.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, self-motivated and be able to take a flexible approach. You will have good organisations and communication skills and experience working with young people in a classroom setting or learning environment. You will be able to empower others and demonstrate a commitment to fostering growing.

The Role:
* Help students when needed so they can finish the work given by their tutors.
* Support the teaching of different learning programs and make sure students stay involved.
* Keep students interested and motivated during lessons, and make sure they complete their work.
* Make sure each student's learning needs are met.
* Help students learn well, both in groups and one-on-one.
* Support students in building their skills and self-confidence.
* Use technology to support students' learning and help them improve their maths and English.
* Help students understand instructions by explaining or breaking them down when needed.
* Encourage and motivate students regularly.
* Help tutors by making sure all student paperwork is done correctly and on time.
* Keep tutors updated every day about how students are doing.
* Help tutors create lesson plans that include whole class, individual, pair, group, and different learning activities.
* Create or find useful learning materials to support students.
