We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Pre-School Room Leader to join our established and welcoming team. Our nursery offers a cosy, bright, and spacious "home from home" setting where children are encouraged to thrive, explore, and grow.
The Role
As Pre-School Room Leader, you will lead the room with confidence and care, ensuring the highest standards of education and safeguarding are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver outstanding quality care and education for pre-school children.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date children's records, observations, and learning journeys.
* Plan and implement tailored next steps in line with the EYFS framework.
* Prepare and complete detailed school transition reports.
* Support and implement SEN provision where required (SENCO experience essential).
* Create and evaluate engaging, age-appropriate activities in a safe and stimulating environment.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with parents, carers, and families.
* Lead, support, and act as a positive role model within the team.
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
* A Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Childcare.
* A strong working knowledge of the EYFS framework.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience working with pre-school children in a leadership capacity.
* Experience preparing school transition reports.
* SENCO experience.
* Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
* A genuine passion for working with children.
* Strong teamwork skills, reliability, and good timekeeping.
