Mortgage and Protection Adviser
We have an exciting opportunity with one of our Principal firms based in Milton Keynes. This is a long standing business, with a great reputation and are looking for an experienced Mortgage and Protection Advisor to join the team. They have a number of introducing sources, so this role would be perfect for an experienced Mortgage advisor to join and receive a top of flow of leads as a top up to their self generation efforts.
This role is self-employed, fully flexible and fully remote, but the business owner would like to opportunity to occasionally meet up to support, so being commutable into Milton Keynes and the surrounding area would be ideal.

Expectations
As a Mortgage and Protection Adviser you can expect to:-
7. Follow up leads from potential customers to convert into sales
8. Source leads proactively from all available routes
9. Recommend the most suitable product to suit the customer's needs, priorities and circumstances within a regulatory environment
10. Assess customer affordability in order to lend responsibly and in line with regulations
11. Achieve set individual targets in a variety of areas and contribute towards the overall performance of the team
12. Ensure market knowledge is continuously developed and maintained
13. Build and forecast a pipeline with accuracy on completion
14. Demonstrate continuous improvement in terms of conversions
Qualifying Criteria
To be a successful Mortgage and Protection Adviser you will need to:-
15. Hold Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practise (CeMAP) or Mortgage Advice Qualification (MAQ)
16. Experience within the mortgage brokerage market
17. Have a consistent track record of achieving your goals within your current role
18. Be proactive and self-motivated, with a proven track record of exceeding targets
19. An excellent understanding of the mortgage market, products and services
20. Confident in presenting
21. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to overcome challenges
22. Experience of Financial Services sales and understanding of compliance regulations
23. A passion for achieving a fantastic customer experience.
