A leading offshore law firm is seeking two Senior Associates to join its Corporate Funds practice in Jersey. These appointments will focus on servicing a flagship client of the firm, ensuring exposure to a steady stream of complex and high-value work, with little or no requirement for business development. Applicants should be Commonwealth qualified lawyers with 5–8 years’ PQE and excellent academics. Strong M&A experience is highly desirable, although those with a broader corporate background will also be considered. Previous funds experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Candidates must be capable of managing complex transactions independently and demonstrate exceptional intelligence, judgement and drafting ability. Fluency in French or Swedish would be a welcome addition but is not essential. Key aspects of the role include: Advising a key institutional client on a wide range of corporate and transactional mandates. Managing sophisticated matters with limited supervision, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Drafting and negotiating complex documentation to the highest standards. Collaborating with senior colleagues and mentoring junior team members. Supporting the delivery of seamless client service on major mandates.
