SLR's ecology team is growing quickly, and to support this, we are looking for an experienced Ornithologist to join our expert, friendly team.

The role
The role involves conducting field surveys across various sites and report writing to support our expanding renewable energy projects across the UK. Depending on your experience, there will be opportunities to develop skills in different survey types and methodologies, working with rare and protected species in diverse landscapes.
As part of our ornithology services division, you will receive support from experienced professionals to help develop your skills and achieve your career goals.

About you
Depending on your experience, your duties may include:
* Leading and assisting with ornithology surveys using various methodologies
* Maintaining accurate digital field notes following scientific standards
* Data analysis, report writing, and data management
* Conducting other surveys such as water vole, otter, badger, bats, and habitat assessments
The role may require remote work, travel, and some out-of-hours work due to site locations and survey requirements.
