A leading FMCG manufacturer in North Wales is looking for an HSE Manager / Lead to take full ownership of the Environmental, Health, and Safety agenda across their operating sites (c350 people).
The successful HSE Manager / Lead will ideally have demonstrable experience ofof Helth & Safety management within a manufacturing or automated distribution environment. You will ideally hold a NEBOSH Diploma (equivalent or working towards), IEMA environmental certificate and experience with ISO 14001/45001 systems (internal or lead auditor experience is a plus).
Most importantly, you will bring energy and passion and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to challenge and support managers to ensure safe ways of working are understood and followed.
This could suit an established HSE Manager seeking a new challenge, or an HSE professional looing to take their next step up (support will be provided to develop fully nto the role).
HSE Manager responsibilities include:
* Culture & Engagement: Developing HSE "operational champions" and implementing measurable staff engagement projects.
* Leadership: Developing and delivering the company HSE strategy while managing the functional budget.
* Environmental Stewardship: Promoting sustainable operations by identifying energy efficiencies, resource consumption improvements, and waste minimisation.
* Compliance & Risk: Ensuring robust Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work are in place, alongside managing ISO 14001/45001 standards.
* Investigation & Prevention: Leading thorough investigations into "near misses" and incidents to implement effective preventative controls.
* Coaching & training: Line management of a SHE Coordinator and delivery of relevant training and coaching to internal stakeholders.

* Permanent Monday – Friday role, 40 hours per week, flexible start and finish times; applicants seeking a 4-day part time role will also be considered.
