An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly respected and internationally recognised business operating within the labels and packaging sector.
This company is a market leader within its field, supplying specialist label solutions and equipment into the food production industry, and due to continued growth, they are now looking to strengthen their production team with the addition of a Labels Print Finisher / Coater Rewinder.
This is a permanent day shift position working Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
The Role
You will be responsible for operating coating and rewinding machinery within a fast-paced production environment, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high-quality standard.
Duties include:
* Operating coating and rewinding machinery
* Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required
* Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
* Identifying faults and escalating issues where necessary
* Carrying out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
* Ensuring all health &; safety procedures are followed
* Working closely with the wider production team to maintain workflow and output targets
The Person
The successful candidate will ideally come from a manufacturing or production background and have experience operating machinery within a fast-paced environment.
Experience from sectors such as print, labels, packaging, food production, plastics, pharmaceutical or automotive would all be considered.
You will also possess:
* Strong attention to detail
* A proactive and hands-on approach
* Good problem-solving abilities
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Previous coating/rewinding experience would be highly advantageous, although training can be provided for the right individual
Salary &; Benefits
* £28,000 basic salary
