Head Concierge
We are seeking a passionate and accomplished Head Concierge
to lead our Concierge team and embody the essence of The Luxury Collection
brand. The Edinburgh Grand is a landmark of history and refinement, offering
guests an authentic connection to the city’s rich heritage. As Head Concierge,
you will be the cultural ambassador of our hotel who will curate extraordinary
guest journeys, open doors to Edinburgh’s hidden gems, and ensure every stay is
infused with authenticity and luxury.
Leading our Concierge team, you will inspire excellence,
build lasting relationships, and create experiences guest will take with them
long after they depart.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading and inspiring the Concierge team to deliver
exceptional, personalised service in line with The Luxury Collection standards
* Curating authentic local experiences and epicurean moments
that reflect the spirit of Edinburgh
* Serving as a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to guests,
offering bespoke recommendations and exclusive access to the city’s hidden gems
* Building strong relationships with local partners, cultural
institutions, and culinary venues to enhance the guest offering
* Coordinating VIP arrivals, special requests, and memorable
guest touchpoints with precision and care
* Maintaining a visible presence in the lobby, embodying
warmth, confidence, and discretion at all times
* Collaborating closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, and
F&B teams to ensure a seamless and luxurious guest journey
* Manage departmental administration, scheduling, and
budgeting effectively.
* Represent The Edinburgh Grand at industry networking events,
embodying the prestige of the hotel and The Luxury Collection brand
What You’ll Bring
* A
passion for delivering exceptional, personalised service in a luxury
setting
* Deep
knowledge of Edinburgh’s culture, dining, and hidden gems, or a genuine
excitement to discover them
* Previous
experience in a concierge or guest-facing leadership role within a
high-end hotel
* Strong
leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and elevate your
team
* A
warm, confident, and approachable presence with guests and colleagues
* Impeccable
attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a calm approach under
pressure
* A
natural curiosity and enthusiasm for creating unforgettable guest
experiences
* Membership
in Les Clefs d'Or, or working towards it would be a great advantage
* Fluent
in English and ability to speak other languages is a great advantage
