BGS is seeking a Systems Design and Analysis Engineer to support the Avionics/Electrical Ground Support Systems team in Berkeley, Missouri. This position will focus on Ground Support Equipment supporting F-15 (multiple customers), T-7, and other Air Force programs. Experience with Supplier Statement-of-Work, Supplier Coordination, and requirements tracing is highly desirable.
Position Responsibilities:
* Research, analyze, and compile basic technical data for company products and system-level concepts in projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle.
* Apply systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools to the design of basic system of systems, systems, and new product development.
* Derive and develop basic architectures, functional requirements, refinements, and product designs.
* Assist in integrating technical, cost, value, risks, and specialty engineering considerations into product definition.
* Interface with project teams, management, sales, marketing, customers, and suppliers to meet organizational objectives.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
* At least 2 years of experience developing requirements for systems engineering processes.
* At least 2 years of experience coordinating requirements with suppliers and/or subcontractors.
* At least 2 years of experience in written and verbal communication, including public speaking and interactions with senior management.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 3+ years of experience reviewing, commenting, resolving, and approving technical designs and data packages.
* 3+ years of experience in avionics troubleshooting.
* 3+ years of experience with on-platform electrical support equipment.
Additional Information:
* This position does not offer relocation assistance. Candidates must reside nearby or relocate at their own expense.

* Summary pay range: $79,900 - $108,100.
