Job Description Digital Marketing Executive Northampton (site-based, with UK travel) £35,000 DOE Full-time, permanent Our client is a market-leading logistics organisation, operating on a large scale across the UK and internationally. Known for their innovative and customer-focused approach, they support some of the world’s most recognised brands. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a creative and self-motivated Digital Marketing Executive to take ownership of their digital channels and drive their online presence forward. The Digital Marketing Executive will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the company’s digital and social media strategy. This position combines strategic planning with creative execution and will suit someone who enjoys storytelling through visual and written content. A part of the role will involve travelling to operational sites across the UK to capture engaging content, including video and photography, to showcase the people, culture, and services behind the brand. The successful candidate will be expected to plan content calendars around two weeks in advance, producing approximately six posts per week, and ensuring consistency of voice and style across platforms. Duties Develop and implement a digital marketing and social media strategy aligned with business objectives. Plan, create, and schedule content across digital channels, ensuring a consistent posting rhythm. Produce engaging, visual content using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Visit UK sites to capture content and stories for digital platforms. Act as a brand storyteller, bringing company culture and achievements to life. Collaborate with internal teams to source updates and stories. Work with external agencies on SEO and digital activity (SEO delivery is managed externally). Track, monitor, and report on engagement and performance across digital platforms. The Candidate The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker and confident communicator, with a passion for storytelling and digital engagement. You should be equally comfortable building strategy and creating content, with the ability to work independently while also being an effective team player. Previous experience in digital marketing and/or social media management. Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite. Strong visual storytelling skills, with the ability to produce graphics, photography, and video. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organised and proactive, with strong planning skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Full UK driving licence (essential, due to travel requirements). Desirable: Experience in logistics, supply chain, or B2B industries. Knowledge of SEO principles.
