Risk & Compliance Assistant Reporting to the Risk & Compliance Manager Full Time | Permanent | Newbury Due to continued growth, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Risk & Compliance Assistant to join our expanding regional law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is interested in developing a career in risk and compliance within a supportive, collaborative and regulated professional environment. The Role The Risk & Compliance Assistant will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Risk & Compliance team, helping to ensure that core compliance processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and consistently across the firm. Key responsibilities will include: Conducting ID checks, client due diligence and file administration to support compliant client onboarding Handling incoming requests and preparing monthly summary reports Processing compliance requests and carrying out required checks using the firm's internal systems. Reviewing clients on our system to ensure monitoring only applies to active cases. Monitoring the Compliance Task list and ensuring outstanding actions are progressed and resolved Identifying duplicate entries on our database and coordinating with our Technology team to merge or remove them. Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Risk & Compliance function About You We are looking for someone who is organised, accurate and keen to build their knowledge in a compliance-focused role.
