Job Title: Loading Bay Operative
Location: Carlisle
Salary: £12.60 per hour (Weekends & Bank Holidays: £22.05 per hour)
Shifts: Mornings (6am-2pm), Backs (2pm-10pm), Nights (10pm-6am)
About the Role:
We are currently looking for a reliable and hard-working Loading Bay Operative to join our team. FLT experience is desirable, but not required. This is a physically active role that involves both forklift operation and manual loading of tyres to and from bays and belts, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow throughout the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
* Load tyres onto trailers accurately and safely.
* Ensure all goods are handled carefully and securely.
* Maintain a tidy and organised loading bay.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a warehouse, loading bay, or similar environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided on site.
* Experience operating FLT is desirable but not needed.
* Ability to work efficiently with a focus on safety and quality.
* Must be available to work a variety of shifts (mornings, afternoons, and nights).
* A reliable and proactive approach to work.
