We're currently looking for a passionate and driven Environmental Monitoring Technician to join our successful and innovative Land Development Team. What You'll Be Doing:
1. Actively contributing to improving the sector's safety performance by complying with the company's health and safety requirements.
2. Carrying out environmental monitoring on the company's sites, including quarries and landfills, in line with company procedures and industry best practice.
3. Planning and managing your own time and workload on a month-to-month basis.
4. Inputting collected data into the MP5 monitoring database, ensuring data is inputted correctly and accurately.
5. Supporting the maintenance of site environmental management plans for closed landfills in line with Environmental Management System requirements.
6. Supporting regulatory engagement regarding closed landfill sites.
7. Undertaking other environmental monitoring duties as required.
What We're Looking For:
* Knowledge of environmental monitoring, data collection practices, procedures, and their application to the business.
* Knowledge of waste management and quarry operations.
* Clear and effective communication skills with a range of stakeholders.
* Ability to prioritize work, work independently, meet deadlines, and follow procedures.
* Good time management skills.
