Mountjoy School is seeking to appoint a Classroom Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis, working 31 hours per week 39 weeks a year (term time plus inset days). Grade 4 £24,404 - £24,790 FTE (pay award pending) We are looking for someone who has experience of supporting young people who present with additional needs and has a strong understanding of child learning and development. Applicants must have achieved a qualification in English/literacy and mathematics/numeracy, equivalent to at least Level 2 of the National Qualifications Framework, (GCSE Grade C/4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 passes).
