NUVIA UK's Technical Services & Consulting department is expanding with hybrid opportunities across the country. We aim to build a multidisciplinary team to offer a broad range of talent to our clients.

Location: Hinkley Point C, Cannington, Bridgwater TA5 1UD

Work arrangement: 37 hours per week

Contract type: Permanent

Security clearance: BPSS clearance at basic level required. Previous clearance is not transferable.

Hinkley Point C is a transformative project providing large-scale, reliable, zero-carbon electricity, boosting regional economies and supporting future clean energy systems. NUVIA is a key part of this mission.

An opportunity has arisen for a Materials Management Coordinator to join the Maintenance Team within the site Communications Operations Directorate. Based at Hinkley Point C, you will be part of an expanding multidisciplinary team. The Materials Management Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end material requisition process, ensuring timely and accurate procurement and delivery of materials needed for construction. This involves coordinating with project managers, suppliers, cataloguing teams, and warehouse teams to meet inventory needs. The role emphasizes data accuracy and enabling all stakeholders to transact efficiently against that data.


Principal Accountabilities

1. Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and suppliers to ensure accurate data in digital tools used in the HPC project.
2. Manage the ‘Shipment Readiness Process’.
3. Coordinate cataloguing teams across digital tools, maintaining contract data to meet shipment schedules.
4. Manage and execute data transfers within digital tools as required.
5. Participate in the ASN deviation forum as a quorate member.
6. Manage maintenance requests from the ASN deviation forum.
7. Ensure process adherence and data quality in digital data flows.
8. Generate reports on material requisition status, outstanding orders, and performance metrics.
9. Manage the cataloguing and processing of Sensitive Nuclear Information.
10. Lead a team of Material Management Requestors to fulfill these responsibilities.


Profile

We seek an experienced, technically competent Materials Management Coordinator willing to contribute their expertise to ensure all equipment and materials used in the Mechanical, Electrical, and HVAC phases of HPC construction are accurately recorded in digital tools, supporting a robust end-to-end lifecycle management process.


The Skills

* Strong attention to detail when working with data
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Understanding of data sources, organization, and storage
* Proficiency in IT tools such as Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience working with large datasets
* Knowledge of Power BI
* Experience with digital tools used in materials management


Qualifications & Experience

* Good communication skills
* Experience with digital tools for managing materials from supply chain to installation, such as Enterprise Asset Management software, is advantageous.
* Experience with the HPC project is advantageous.
