Job Title: Civil Mining Engineer
Location: London (International Travel)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established mine waste team based in London. This role offers exposure to international projects and the chance to work within a small, dynamic, and highly technical team.

This position is ideal for a self-motivated engineer looking to develop their career within a specialist consultancy environment, with regular opportunities for overseas travel.
The successful Civil Engineer will be working alongside major global mining houses, providing review and audit services for mine waste facilities worldwide.
The Role
You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and be involved in a range of mine waste and geotechnical projects, including:
Embankment design and stability analysis
Liner and deposition design
Storage facility layout design
Storage volume and rate of rise calculations
Supporting the delivery of international mine waste projectsRequirements
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline
Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Soil Mechanics or similar (preferred)
Minimum 2 years' experience in the design or operation of mine waste facilities
Strong technical understanding of earthworks and slope stabilitySoftware Experience (Desirable)
Civils3D, Muck3D
Slope/W, Slide or similar slope stability software
